Some days ago, I decided to start a series of pictures to the same topic. Here on dA you can find some series of "The seven deadly sins" or something. But the topic "the four seasons" is really rare I think. And because of the rapid climati change on this world I want to look back to what seasons really are: The change of nature. I started with the spring, the next will probably be the summer! I hope you like it =) And please... Excuse my bad english ^^



Symbolism

The Colors: I chose cold colors like blue, green or purple, because everything is still sleeping at the beginning of spring. Slowly the flowers wake up and the trees get fresh leaves, which fly around. I wanted everything to be new, freshing and untouched!

The Fairy: Maybe you ask, why I decided the nudity. Well, I think everything in spring is newborn and untouched. So the best example for these things is a naked, newborn fairy with nearly invisible wings. And of course, I love fantasy :giggle:

The Forest: The whole scenery is shown in a very deep forest, where are just coming the first sunrays in, because in my opinion you can't find the change of seasons nowhere better than in the forest! The first animals come out and everything changes daily. Sometimes you can observe the leaves growing.

Yeah, you can feel the spring spirit ^_^.. Im making a spring painting.. but its going to be over in like.. a couple of months. But the idea of making each season is great, well done =o)
