Oh I use Photoshop.. In the normal version I add all the layers and everything.. And then I open the file in Imageready, where I am able to animate it =)

Oh and now I forgot ^^
There exist some free gif-animators, which can be used too.. But then you must save all layers as an own picture to animate it!

My pleasure ^^ I love to help... I found I tutorial about animating a smiley once, so I learned about Image Ready... Maybe this helps you to get the main idea, how it works: [link] (I think it is not exactly the same tut I used, but it is very similar :confused:)
