If the comments on the deviation are already similar to the one that person would give, I would prefer to not have the comment ... of course, in my case, most of my deviations are lacking comments, so they are always welcome.

+Favs are always welcome, but I prefer when people fav it because they would like to see the deviation again in the future or just think that the deviation stands out on the crowd...

Yes, I agree!
But here on dA everyone faves everything (me too

). So I don't think, faves are soooo special, because most people don't look very closely what they fave. At least comments prove, that they thought about it... more or less ^^

And I'm thankful for both, because my work isn't very popular..

Nice constructive comments would be wonderful, at least faves mean they actually read what I spent time to write or make.

I like faves... At least they show that people like your work ^^
But I like comments more... They show that people thought about what you did and are interested in the work...
I can understand that most people don't have time to write pages and pages of comments

or even comment at all... But I always smile when I read something nice ^^
