I rarely receive any... but I rarely upload anything ...

I think I well written and criticizing comment (both in a good or bad way, preferably in a constructive manner) is better than a +fav

However, if one is to leave only a comment saying a single/couple of words (like "Awesome!" or "Really nice!") a fave or just nothing is far better...

Man weiß ja nie...

I enjoy receiving comments, but I also enjoy receiving favs (and llamas, but we're ignoring them fora moment. Sorry, llamas.)

I tend to fav and run because when I really, really, really like a piece, I'm often left speechless. I can offer up a paltry "I like this" or an "I thought it was good" but I find it hard to leave a detailed, well-thought out comment on something I find magnificent. I'm also quite shy and painfully polite, so I'm worried about somehow offending the person I'm trying to compliment by saying the wrong thing (stupid fear, I know, but tell that to my brain. :shakefist:).

So, to me, I tend to consider a fav just as nice as a comment. Maybe the fav-and-runner is like me. Maybe they just don't have time. I dunno. I appreciate everything I get, no matter what I get.

tl;dr both comments and favs are awesome :D

Totally agreeeee! :D
The both things are connected in a way... It's a nice compliment to get a fave, but nice when someone takes the time to leave a comment ^^
Ahh hard to decide :giggle:

And poor llamas *patpat* :D
